  • Engineer in a Gig Economy 08 / 11 / 2018 Business Life Engineer in a Gig Economy Working "9-5" is not always an accurate picture of today's working life. The focus is shifting from the traditional that you have to be at work physically at certain times, to the task being done no matter where and when on the day it is done, the working method I speak of is - Gig Economy. Yesterday I attended the Female Engineer Network here in Gothenburg where the theme was just Gig Economy. The trend towards Gig Economy has started in the digital age, as the workforce is increasingly mobile and work can increasingly be done from anywhere, so that the job and the place are disconnected. This means you can choose between temporary jobs and projects around the world, while employers can choose the best individuals for specific projects from a larger pool than the one in a particular area. Instead of a "permanent" employment, Gig Economy is about working on various projects. ...
  • Explore China 23 / 10 / 2018 Business Life777 searching for 16 sites. I did it! In order for Sweden to be more competitive, we must understand the world thus China. China is no longer a copy cat country. Having been one of the 16 selected students in the Explore China program, this is something that has really been enhanced. As I said, I will share the journey here. I was going to divide the trip into 8 parts. But what exactly is the Explore China program? The Explore China program was initiated by Carl Pei, co-founder of the mobile company OnePlus. The purpose of the program is to give young Swedish students inspiration and increased knowledge of entrepreneurship and innovation from world-leading companies as well as local entrepreneurs. The reason I applied was with my curiosity with the aim of gaining an increased knowledge of why the power of innovation is so great in China and how my generation should be able to create new opportunities for the next generation for a more competitive Sweden. During ...
  • Swedish daily commodity trading 2018 14 / 10 / 2018 Naringsliv The flight to Stockholm, but this time it was time for the Swedish Daily Commodity Awards ceremony and the gala 2018. Where I, along with super awesome Albert Hobohm (KTH), Benjamin Ekelund (Jönköping) and Jakob Ohlsson (Jönköping) were invited to participate in a panel debate and session together with HR Director Coca Cola, HR Director Axfood and CEO / Founder Nije . There was a discussion on the China Theater stage in Stockholm with over 450 representatives from the Swedish daily commodity trade listening. Issues that were discussed included, among other things, what changes companies can see over time in terms of what job seekers value and what requirements and expectations there are on their employers. But also how companies attract talent to companies and what they consider to be the biggest challenges in attracting the most talented, attractive students to their companies. Again we came into the picture of a civil engineer, well we can little more than just screw and count on nuts… Later on ...
  • Nominated “Nova of the year 2018” 26 / 09 / 2018 IsabellaNova Forum 2018 This year it was my third Nova forum and it is definitely one of my favorite events but which unfortunately only happens once a year. During a full day, we solve Case for various companies we attend. For me, I was attended to L'Oréal, Schibsted and Deloitte which was super interesting to get an insight into the companies and what they are facing in coming challenges. Last year I was also attended by L'Oréal so it was super fun to come back to them again although trying to solve new challenges and launches that they are facing. Last year it was discussed whether the product L'Oréal Colorista should be launched, which it then did. Now you can still find Colorista on, for example, Kicks, Happiness, Ica and H&M for those who want a different hair color than the one you currently have or dipped hair tops one day but not the other. For Deloitte, I won their Case this year and never ...
